What this is

OperatorAuditBot is an automated visitor run by b4igo.ai Ltd, a UK company. It reads a small business's public website to check how well AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude can read it. The work is an internal trial; no results are published.

How to recognise it

What it does on your site

Reads your home page and at most eight further pages: contact, about, services, prices, booking and FAQ.
Reads a few standard files if they exist: robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and two under /.well-known/.
Stops at 30 pages, 20 seconds or 5 MB, whichever comes first.
Reads robots.txt first and obeys it.
Reads only your own site. It loads no images, fonts or files from elsewhere.
Never fills in a form, sends a message, books anything or telephones you.
Visits once per check, not continuously.

How to block it

Add this to your robots.txt and it will not read your site again:

What we keep

Copies of the pages it read are deleted after 30 days. Facts taken from them (business name, category, town, contact details, services, prices, opening hours) are kept with the check they belong to.

Removal and your rights

To have your business removed from our checks and records, or to ask what we hold about you or have it erased, email privacy@putmethrough.com. We answer within one month.
